One of my goals for 2019 is to work on my head game… my mindset. One of the ways that I’m working to accomplish this is through meditation and yoga. (Routinely I do a HITT or Crossfit WOD- StreetParking) I’m a newbie to meditation and dedicated to working on this to discover how it can help me handle and reduce stress. So, I decided I needed to create a space that would be welcoming and encouraging for me to practice daily. I’m definitely the girl that buys the cute workout clothes to help with the motivation. So, of course I would need some essentials for this…after doing a little bit of research and looking at reviews I purchased this meditation pillow and yoga bolster from BrentwoodHome, they had a ton of good reviews! The meditation pillow and bolster have a beautiful cover (it also matches my home, added bonus) and are filled with corn husks and cotton- they’re also don’t contain any of the bad stuff; formaldehydes, phthalates, heavy metals, all the stuff you would hope to not see. (and we really try and keep out of our house) I pulled out my yoga mat that my fiancé purchased for me a few years ago- Manduka mats have a lifetime warranty- you can’t beat that!! and purchased a diffuser. This black stone beauty is small but powerful, I’m testing out different oil mixes but definitely loving the ambiance it helps create. I’m going to look at getting a few candles to light as well. And for the most important aspect, of actually meditating… I’m officially on day 23 using headspace, which is a fantastic app to get started and keep you going meditating. I have a lot of work still ahead of me- 10 minutes can be quite tough for me, but I figure 10 minutes of me time is not something to shy away from. Do you meditate? When do you find the best time to meditate is? Any suggestions or tips?

I’m SO ready for summer right now. I’m always pretty excited when the season’s change although I’m sure many would say that we don’t have “real” season’s in California because it’s usually pretty sunny… My bf picked out this top and I have to say, on the rack I wasn’t sure about it but I absolutely love it! This top will definitely be a summer favorite and… it’s on SALE right now!! and comes in Blue too! Go check them out! And let me know what you think in the comments below!
Happy Wednesday! Hump day is here- (I’ve always disliked that saying, idk why??) This week went by pretty fast with the memorial holiday… I did Murph on Monday in honor of all our service men/women and a dear friends dad whom just passed away last month. Murph is a mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups and 300 air squats (it kicked my bootie, and yes I’m sore) oh and then another mile run… I did cheat a little and I did it as a team/partner wod and split it with my bf! (cheers to all those who rocked it alone!) It’s not June but the gloom is here, so I’m staying bundled up but able to peel the layers off, I love this outfit- the army green puffer vest goes with almost anything and everything… Green and bright orange or an amazing combo in my book… I’m also gushing over these amazing wedges- the pics really don’t do enough justice- go check them out!!

Loving these bright colors in the midst of the gloom (and it’s not even June!)… Although you can’t tell I was able to catch some sunlight between the cloud cover… Love this outfit for brunch or paired with flats on a hot summer day to run around town or go shopping..
Happy Wednesday! My favorite pants paired with a comfy but modern white shirt and nude heels. I love this look, it’s comfortable but also classic and modern. I love it to run around and visit clients in, getting in and out of my car without any fuss… I added my leather jacket for an extra layer- it looks sunny, but the clouds rolled in quick making it a chilly day!
Take me to the weekend!! This shirt depicts my sentiments right now exactly.. It’s my birthday weekend and although I have no big plans, but I do plan on getting some sun and sand in my hair…Tonight’s our weekly Wednesday date night, I was feeling a little playful tonight so went with my Take Me To The Weekend tank from Victoria’s Secret (last season), some comfy straight leg linen pants and wedges… I love a comfy casual put together look… Ps, I’m OBSESSED with my new Target bag!!
(The link in the post above for the Target bag isn’t working properly, if you click the link you can then search my product #16845944)

Happy Wednesday! Loving this pastel palette (who knew how to spell palette??) All the different colors complementing each other each standing alone but nothing over dominating, I’m loving it… AND my new S curling iron- I’m OBSESSED!! It gives that beach wave look… and it stays for multiple days without looking like a complete disaster- bonus in my book! Especially, since I don’t wash my hair daily… What do you guys think? Comment or share below!
Happy Wednesday! Today’s a business casual type of day.. Comfy but stylish for a girl on the go! I paired a pair of my favorite black pants with a loose fitting airy top to fit with the warming weather. I also decided to lightening things up a little with my neutral shoes and bag that I pulled from the top. (I’m also wearing a nude tank underneath since my shirts a little see through in the sun)
I also took this outfit from business casual to casual date night with my honey… I changed it up a bit with my favorite casual AG jeans, teeks floppies and some lana jewelry…
Ps, He loved this outfit…
Happy Wednesday! Today I decided to go for a casual comfy look (the weather hasn’t quite decided if it’s ready to warm up here). So, I paired a casual pretty pastel pink burnout tee with a pair of my favorite AG jeans! (If you haven’t tried these, you should, they have just the right amount of give and don’t stretch out to much!) I threw on my ankle booties to dress the look up a little bit and added a pop of pink lipstick for some added color… I used to NEVER wear anything lower than a 4 inch heel, my feet are definitely loving these booties…. at least for a few more day’s until spring/summer arrive and fingers crossed I’ll find my new dream wedge or(and?!?) gladiator sandal!
Isn’t she a beauty?? Well for a boy… The new Nike Metcon1 (crossfit/training) shoe was released January 31st and sold out within 10 minutes. The shoe is designed to for optimal “lift, jump, climb and run,” and has been showcased with the 2015 crossfit open winner Mathew Fraser as the spokesman/model. Did I mentioned that these were a boys shoe? I mean, released only in a men’s shoe design/color/size… I have to be honest, I’m feeling a little discriminated against. In an niche such as Crossfit that has seen continued exponential growth year over year, with numbers in 2015 such as 12,000 affiliate boxes (gym’s), 273,000 people signing up for the Crossfit Open, 246,000 people completing the first workout (numbers drop by approximately 10% per work) 2015 crossfit open, and over 99,000 women completing 15.1. I would’ve love to see something for women from Nike. The Nike Metcon1 is set to be back in stock April 2nd, 2015 which I’m guessing after hearing the buzz of the shoe, will be sold out quickly. Now, if we could just get some girl sizes and colors we could be sold out quickly- Just do it, Nike!!
